Zhuhai Zhen Rong Company was established upon the approval of the State Council in 1994 and is now under the administration of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission.

For the past sixteen years, the Company has been keeping forging ahead with keen determination as well as spirits of self-reliance and hard struggle, which come from her sense of responsibility in promoting comprehensive strength of national defense and invigorating energy industry of the nation. The Company has built a stable and long-standing channel for crude oil supply has not only made great contributions to energy security of the nation, but also developed bilateral trade and political relations with middle-east countries . With these achievements, the company has laid a solid foundation for other special trading controlled by the government. In 2010, the Company imported 17.13million tons of crude oil and other oil products, with total import and export volume of the Company over USD $61billion. By the end of 2011, total import of crude oil by the company is about163 million tons with the trade volume up to about USD $75.6 billion. The company has also paid in total about ￥60 billion of tax charges to the country, contributing to propel the reform , opening-up and modernization drive. During the past sixteen years, the company ranked between 15th to 25th by trade volume among the 500 import and export giants in China.
